After reading all the great reviews on Nextdoor I called them to get my pool heater working. They set up the meeting for the next day with a time of service between 2 and 4pm. McCarthy technician Andrew showed up a few minutes before 2pm and quickly solved my problem. And the charge was $79 for a service call…most reasonable service call charge I have paid in a long time..plus the cost of replacing two capacitors. Andrew was not only very punctual but quick to diagnose my problem. Being a young new employee of McCarthy AC having come to this area from Indiana this past winter, I asked him how he liked his job. Said it was great and they treat him like family. McCarthy AC has exceptional service, very reasonable pricing and people that love their job and the way they are treated. McCarthy AC is a top run business in southwest Florida.

I had McCarthy out this week as the A/C condensate drain got clogged and water leaked all over the floor. They came out within hours and diagnosed it right away. They also adjusted the emergency shut off float, which was set too high and hadn’t shut the system down. Annual service contract for two visits was just $149. Good service, good price!

So sorry that you had that experience. We just started using McCarthy a couple of months ago (I mentioned them in the comment below) and they’re great. Loved the tech, don’t try to sell you something you don’t need etc. He also installed our new smart thermostat. It was a refreshingly positive experience. We are so glad that we chose them. We’re definitely having them do the regular 6 month service.

We had great results with McCarthy A/C. They are a family owned business in our area. They did a complete replacement and were concerned about our satisfaction. They even returned to change the thermostat to make sure a comfortable temp was maintained.

McCarthy Air does it again! I called for help around 2:30pm on a Friday afternoon. The tech arrived within 30 minutes, discovered the problem, had the replacement part in his truck, and fixed it. I was enjoying cool air before 4pm. I love these folks! Kudos for bringing the tops in outstanding service, knowledge, and very reasonable prices to the industry. Honesty and integrity have been evident in every visit, including weekend emergency calls.

We had been out of town and upon our return both of AC’s were not working. Set up an appointment and the office staff was great to work with. Matthew came out and analyzed situation and recommended 2 new ACs. He was great to work with and very accommodating. McCarthy Air even provided 2 portable ACs until we could get installation done which happened within the week – so quick to get the new ACs which was appreciated in 90 degree weather. Nick and Jake were installers and they were polite, respectful and knew what they were doing. Also, Brad came out and corrected our circuit to accommodate new ACs. Both my husband and I were very pleased and would recommend McCarthy Air!

Ryan was very professional and thorough. He explained what he was doing and gave me pointers to keep my unit well maintained. At one point, I noticed him taking pictures. He explained that they use the pictures in a meeting at the end of the day to review each call and verify the job points were all completed! I’ve never had that done by any other company and I appreciate that extra step of thoroughness. I would highly recommend McCarthy Air to anyone who is looking for a good honest local company to support and have excellent service and great pricing as well! Thank you McCarthy Air!

I am so appreciative of the quick response to repair my A/C today. The heat at this time of year has been so very hot and when I called Jenny to schedule a service call, she promised to get a tech out to my home today.
She sent Ryan who sent me a text to say he was on his way. He arrived and had the A/C humming smoothly and cooling the house off in no time. What a great and efficient tech (couldn’t have been nicer)! Thanks for the great service!

This is a high quality operation. I have had some HVAC challenges over the years and Brad, Jenn and team have always been there to help. They are very professional and respond very quickly to remediate your issues. Forget the big name HVAC companies who may not be trustworthy and try to find everything wrong with your system. McCarthy air is trustworthy, fair and honest business that is locally owned and provides the type of service you expect to receive from your HVAC professional
In closing I do not pass out compliments or high ratings easily. However I’m very pleased with the quick high quality professional service I receive from McCarthy air. I highly recommend them.

Ryan was there w/in 20 mins of my call of an issue ! He found electrical issues from incorrect install of previous a/c providers!l came out the next day to permanently fix the issue-!

My AC stopped working correctly. I called McCarthy because they are a local family owned business Andrew can out within 1/2 an hour and had my unit fixed quickly great pricing. Wasn’t pushed to buy anything else. Very very well labored nice guy.

Absolutely amazing! I am a property manager and good vendors are so difficult to find. When I found McCarthy AC I was having so many difficulties with my previous AC vendor not answering me, not scheduling clients in a timely manner, and so much more. Now I use McCarthy for every AC issue because not only are they always responsive, fair in pricing, and on time but the level of customer service Jenny & Brand McCarthy give is unbeatable. McCarthy Air Conditioning has taken care of my AC needs for a few years now. Anytime my AC unit needed to be serviced, Jenny sent someone out right away. I recently needed a whole new unit. Brad ordered the crane, and they were here 2 days later to install the new AC. Ali, Eddy and Ryan arrived promptly, and got to work. The whole process was seamless, and the guys worked diligently to complete the installation. The guys were super courteous and considerate. They even brought in some extra fans so that I wouldn’t be uncomfortable while they worked. I also got a UV light sanitation system. I loved waking up this morning without my allergies acting up! I couldn’t be happier with my new purchase and that I chose McCarthy Air Conditioning to take care of me. They really take care of their costumers! Thanks Brad, Jenny, Ali, Eddy and Ryan- you’re the best!

I would HIGHLY recommend McCarthy’s Air Conditioning! Brad and Jennifer are the dynamic duo behind this company and both treat their customers with the utmost respect, kindness, and honesty that is hard to find these days.
Brad goes above and beyond on general maintenance calls and he has been so helpful getting the AC and duct work in my recently purchased house working in optimal condition (which has also helped lower my electric bill).
Brad also helped to repair an issue with my on-demand water heater which was incorrectly installed prior to my purchasing my home. Upon examination, part of the inside had melted and burned….it was a fire waiting to happen and could have cost me and those I care about our lives. Brad made sure to install properly rated wiring for the unit as well as a nearby shut off breaker to prevent wasted time racing to an outside electrical box in an emergency. I feel much safer thanks to his thoroughness and professional knowledge.
I’ve recently also had Brad install a UV light. As an allergy sufferer and someone with a compromised immune system, this has been instrumental in keeping me as healthy as possible as it sanitizes the air and duct work running through my house. An investment well worth it!

Our air conditioning went out this afternoon and our son recommended and contacted McCarthy Air Conditioning to take a look at it. Of course it’s a Saturday late afternoon and I thought they wouldn’t be able to come out today or they would charge us an arm and a leg. Well they came out within a half an hour and replaced the thermostat to get the air back on. The bill was much lower than expected and we are so pleased with the service. I would certainly recommend this company to anyone who needs their air conditioner serviced. Thank you McCarthy Air Conditioning.
